Nordic Travel Is Having Its Moment – and Claire's Right at the Heart of It

We're absolutely delighted to share that Claire has been featured in TTG Media, one of the UK's most respected travel trade publications.

It came off the back of Claire attending the Five Countries Workshop in London earlier this month – a brilliant industry event showcasing travel products across Iceland, Finland, Estonia, the Faroe Islands and Greenland. And it's fair to say she came home buzzing.

Estonia, of course, is somewhere she's fallen completely in love with – you may have already read her blog about why it stole her heart (if not, it's well worth a read – link below!). But the workshop helped her look at the whole region with fresh eyes. From Finland's wild forests just 45 minutes outside Helsinki, to Iceland as a destination wedding wildcard, to the raw, off-grid appeal of Greenland – there is so much here for the right client.

"There is so much potential to this region," Claire told TTG. “Since Covid, people have been turning away from fly and flop beach holidays. Yes, that works for lots of people, but there’s a whole generation – my 28-year-old daughter among them – who don’t want to go and lie on a beach. They’ll spend their money on floating sauna on a lake rather than drinks in a nightclub. They look at countries like Finland – known for being the happiest people in the world – and they want to go and experience that for themselves. And that is why I feel it is this region’s time to shine.”
