We're absolutely thrilled to share some incredible news - Luxury Dream Holidays has been shortlisted as a finalist for Top Luxury Weddings & Honeymoons Agency 2025 in the prestigious Travel Trade Gazette Top 20 Luxury Travel Agencies Awards.
To be recognised on a national level for something so close to our hearts feels honestly a bit overwhelming. When I founded LDH in 2018, it was always about creating something different - a truly personal approach to luxury travel, built on genuine relationships and years of experience.
Weddings and honeymoons aren't just bookings to us - they're some of the most important journeys our clients will ever take. Being trusted with someone's special day, whether it's planning a destination wedding in Mauritius or crafting the perfect honeymoon in the Maldives, is a privilege we never take lightly.
This recognition comes at an exciting time for our small Bristol-based agency. Over the past year, we've been working hard to share our story more widely - not just for ourselves, but for our brilliant team who deserved to be seen for the exceptional work they do every day.
From our base here in Bristol, we've been quietly building something special. Our approach has always been about quality over quantity - taking the time to really understand what luxury means to each client, whether that's a private sunset cruise, the perfect suite with a view, or simply knowing someone's always available when you need them.
The judges clearly saw something in the stories we shared - from Chloe and Michael's dramatic but ultimately perfect Mauritius wedding, to Paul's feedback about how we made his holiday "everything he hoped for and more." These aren't just testimonials to us - they're proof that when you go above and beyond, when Emma provides amazing support through every step, or when clients say they "cannot recommend Claire more highly," you're doing something right.
The numbers speak for themselves too: 90% of our business comes from repeat bookings or referrals. That's not just good business - it's proof that when you treat every trip as if it were your own, people notice.
We've sometimes felt off the radar compared to our London counterparts. But our clients and supplier partners have always known the heart and quality behind what we do. This shortlisting proves that great service and genuine expertise can be recognised wherever you're based.
The final stage of judging is now underway, and whatever the outcome, this recognition has already opened new doors and conversations that are helping us grow and support even more couples with their special journeys.
