Kelly Bowen

Personal Travel Consultant

With a passion for travel that spans over 20 years, I specialise in crafting luxury tailor-made holidays, ski escapes and high-end city breaks. From concierge-style travel for VIP clients and family offices to planning unforgettable family adventures, my focus is on delivering impeccable service where no detail is overlooked.

I love turning ideas into reality, often suggesting experiences my clients didn’t even realise they wanted! I’m known for my reliability, warmth and ability to find the perfect balance between seamless organisation and a personal touch. My clients know they can rely on me 24/7 - whether it’s a last-minute flight change, a restaurant recommendation or even a boarding pass delivered in the middle of the night! The only thing I won’t do is pack their luggage.

Away from travel, I’m always on the go - coaching netball, running or learning the rules of rugby (thanks to my son!). I love football, have no sense of direction (Google Maps and I have an ongoing battle), and apparently, I unintentionally mimic accents… I’m told my Welsh and Scottish are particularly convincing!

My background

Born and based in Bristol, I studied Travel & Business at university before starting my career with Bakers Dolphin, working across airfares, business travel, and later, their specialist wildlife tour company, WildWings. I then transitioned into private jet chartering, handling bespoke travel for the film and music industries, sports teams and high-profile individuals.

Luxury travel has always been my passion, and my experience working with VIPs has honed my meticulous approach, discretion and commitment to exceptional service. From private jet itineraries to sourcing exclusive villa stays and securing the best tables in the world’s top restaurants, I love curating seamless, high-touch travel experiences.

I specialise in tailor-made luxury holidays - whether it’s a beach retreat, city escape, guided tour, ski adventure or boutique cruise. My concierge approach means I don’t just book a trip - I design every detail around my clients’ preferences, often thinking of things they wouldn’t have considered themselves.

After having my family, I returned to travel in 2017, joining Claire at the Dream Travel Group before moving with her to Luxury Dream Holidays when she established it in 2018.

Many of my clients come via word-of-mouth, and I love building long-term relationships, ensuring every trip is better than the last.

Where I've been

I’ve been fortunate to travel extensively across Europe, the Caribbean, the Indian Ocean, Asia and Africa.

Some of my favourite destinations include:

  • St Barths – Pure luxury with a laid-back Caribbean charm

  • Cape Town & the Winelands – Spectacular scenery, incredible food and world-class wines

  • Kaikoura, New Zealand – Swimming with dolphins and whale watching was truly unforgettable

  • Recent trips have included the Seychelles, Bali, Mauritius, Antigua, Barbados, Greece and Copenhagen.

My favourite places

I’ve been lucky enough to experience some of the world’s most luxurious hotels and always keep up to date with the latest must-visit destinations (and those that offer total privacy if you prefer).

Top Destinations: Mauritius, Paris and St Barths — where I can still taste the Mahi Mahi baked in salt bread at Le Toiny. And Barbados, where the beaches, Bajan hospitality and laid-back luxury make it a personal favourite.

Favourite Hotels: Cap Juluca, Anguilla; Le Bristol, Paris; Calabash, Grenada; Royal Palm, Mauritius; and Cape Grace, Cape Town.

Where I want to go next

  • Antarctica – For its sheer remoteness and untouched landscapes

  • South America – From Patagonia’s breathtaking scenery to the vibrant culture of Buenos Aires

  • India – A country of contrasts, rich in history, colour and incredible food

My priorities when booking a holiday for a client

  • Making travel effortless and stress-free

  • Offering a truly personal service — my clients know I’m just a call away, no matter where in the world they are

  • Thinking beyond the basics— adding those extra touches that turn a great trip into an unforgettable one

What I can't travel without

My laptop - because I’m always on hand for my clients!

My best piece of travel advice

If in doubt, travel.

When I'm not working...

When I’m not planning holidays, you’ll find me coaching and umpiring netball, running or spending time with my three amazing children. I’m also heavily involved in charity work, particularly suicide prevention and the Darby Rimmer Foundation for motor neurone disease, a cause very close to my heart.
