This is Claire's absolute favourite hotel in the world — and once you've been, you'll understand why. With just 69 sea-facing suites, the Royal Palm feels wonderfully intimate. Best Time to Visit
Mauritius has a lovely subtropical climate, so honestly, there isn't really a bad time to go. That said, some months are better than others depending on what you're after. The north and west coasts tend to be warmer and more sheltered from trade winds during the winter months, which is worth knowing when choosing your resort.
