Heritage Le Telfair

Heritage Le Telfair is a luxurious 5 star hotel located on the unspoilt south coast of Mauritius and  was named after the famous 19^th century naturalist Charles Telfair. Inspired by this era, the resort was designed with elegance and reflects Mauritian tradition throughout with its unique and refined style.

This unique destination is renowned for having to best 18-hole championship golf course in the entire Indian Ocean as well as being home to exceptional spas, nature reserves and the incredible 19^th Century historic plantation house. The 19^th century historic plantation house, also known as Heritage Le Chateau is a stunning building that features an incredible wine cellar and offers Mauritian-style cuisine; the property can also be privatised upon request for those special occasions… the French gardens that surround it make for the perfect setting for a proposal or for saying I DO.

An extensive selection of restaurants and bars are also available to guests in order to suit all pallets, 12 in total including Annabella’s; the resorts main restaurant where guests will be served scrumptious Grande brasserie cuisine. Fantastic cooking classes and wine tasting sessions are also held here.

Timomo Kids Club is offered free of charge for children from 0 to 11 years of age, as well as a teenager’s programme for teens from 12 to 17 years of age. An array of activities can be enjoyed in the kid’s club from dance classes to arts & crafts and from culinary workshops to treasure hunting in the resorts surrounding gardens. For teenagers, activities include golf initiation, horse riding, Wii game consoles and much more.

Golf – Free unlimited green fees are offered to guests at Heritage Golf Club (an 18-hole championship golf course) excluding equipment, practice balls and lessons. Complimentary golf cart will be offered for every round (max one per room/day). Guests can also choose to pay a supplement to be apart of the weekly unique night golf experience.

Wellness – Including complimentary access to the on-site Sport Centre where guests can take part in Aerobics, cardio and much more. Wellness programmes are also available (weekly activity schedule available).

Water Sports – Including snorkelling, pedal boats, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, glass bottom boat trips and much more.

Land Sports – Including table tennis, archery bocce-ball, bicycle riding, beach volleyball and tennis courts (equipment included)

Entertainment – Nightly entertainment offered to guests in both Heritage Le Telfair AND Heritage Awali including live music.

Timomo Kids Club – Available free of charge for children from 3 to 11 years of age. Baby Timomo club available for children from 0 to 35 months old (bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance) – All baby nurses are trained in first aid and child care. Teenagers programme also available for teens from 12 to 17 years of age.

Seven Colours Spa – Including x8 treatments rooms, x1 hairdressers, x1 manicure and pedicure parlour and x1 vitality pool. Guests will be offered an extensive selection of massages and spa rituals, facial/body and beauty cares, customised treatments and spa packages as well as Seven Colours signature treatments. Private sessions can also be pre-booked including mind-body, fitness, daily wellness, wellness cuisine, detox, nature and much more.

Weddings and Renewal of Vows – On-site wedding planners available  to help assist with those special occasions. The resort offers an array of fantastic venues including Heritage Le Chateau (19^th century plantation house), French gardens of Heritage Le Chateau, on the beach and Heritage C Beach Club.

Annabella’s – Main restaurant serving Grande brasserie cuisine. The restaurant offers a la carte options as well as themed evenings and live cooking stations. Cooking classes and wine tasting can be pre-booked (surcharge applies). Dress Code: smart casual from 7pm.

Gin’Ja – Located on the beach overlooking the crystal clear lagoon and serving Pan-Asian cuisine as well as a la carte options and Asian street food buffets. Cooking classes and wine tasting can be pre-booked (surcharge applies).  Please Note: Children under 12 years of age are not welcome in Gin’Ja. Dress Code: smart casual from 7pm.

Cavendish Bar and Lounge – Serving a fine selection of cigars, old rum and whiskey from around the world. The bar and lounge features a snooker table and a la carte services (from noon until 5pm) in a relaxed piano bar atmosphere.

Le Palmier – Pool/beach restaurant and bar offering both food and beverage services; Lunch: a la carte with salad and plancha / Dinner: a la carte with fish and seafood. Dress Code: Island Chic.

Heritage Le Chateau – Located in the stunning 19^th century plantation house and featuring a wine cellar. Refined Mauritian cuisine using Heritage Bel Ombre products will be served here – a la carte available upon reservation. The plantation house can be privatised upon request for any special events such as weddings. Please Note: Children under 12 years of age are not welcome in Heritage Le Chateau.

Golf Club Restaurant and Bar – Serving a la carte options and hosting steak nights 6 days a week. Dress Code: Island Chic prior to 7pm / smart casual from 7pm.

Heritage C Beach Club – Experience the islands sun, sand and sea when dining in one of two restaurants or upon visit to the Chill Lounge Bar. CYAN restaurant: serving international buffets. COAST restaurant: serving Mediterranean a la carte options in the day and Italian cuisine of an evening. The Chill Lounge Bar offers brunch every first Sunday of each month and hosts beach parties with international DJ’s. Dress Code: Island Chic.

Heritage Le Telfair features 158 luxurious suites all offering stunning garden or sea views.
