Each year Barbados has some of the best festivals taking place throughout the year.  From Music, Food, Arts & Culture there is something for everyone.  

The Holetown Festival (Monday, 17th Feb)

Located in St James, The Holetown Festival is a vibrant affair that celebrates the arrival of the very first settlers in Holetown back in 1627. A number of activities are included that showcase the destination’s culture and traditions including bus tours, street fairs, parades, tattoos, concerts, memorial walks, nightly shows and much, much more!

Oistins Fish Festival (Friday, 10th April to Monday, 13th April)
Located in the scenic fishing village of Oistins; The Oistins Fish Festival is a folk festival that celebrates the contribution made to Barbados by those in the local fishing industry. A unique attraction featuring an array of entertainment and a lively atmosphere.

Barbados Reggae Festival (Wednesday, 22nd April to Wednesday, 29th April)
Discover one of the world’s leading Reggae festivals hosted in various locations around the island. This week-long affair is the perfect haven for Reggae lovers showcasing performances from leading regional and local artists. So, make sure you keep up to date with the when and where!

Barbados Gospelfest (Monday, 18th May to Tuesday, 26th May)
The Caribbean regions premier gospel music and arts festival, Barbados Gospelfest, is a one-of-a-kind spiritual music event based in Bridgetown, that features top local, Caribbean and international gospel talent. Covering choral music, jazz, comedy and a whole host of magnificent events; there’s a little something here for everyone.

Barbados Celtic Festival – (Tuesday, 19th May to Sunday, 24th May)
Put on your dancing shoes upon visit to the spectacular Barbados Celtic Festival hosted St Michael. This unique event celebrates the links between the Celtic countries of Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Nova Scotia, the Gallic regions in Europe and the Caribbean island of Barbados through a fusion music and flavours.

Sol Rally Barbados (Usually held in June but dates yet to be announced)

Barbados Crop-Over Festival – (Commencing Monday, 3rd August)
For all of you seeking a dream holiday rich with creativeness, then you cannot miss the most colourful festival in Barbados; Grand Kadooment Day. Backdating back to 1974, this exceptional 6-week festival celebrates a 200 year old tradition that honours the end of the sugar cane season; and is quite possibly the best and most popular event ever be hosted on the island attracting thousands of people each year.

From mascaraed bands to dusk ‘til dawn parties, and from arts & craft markets to culinary-driven street fares, this premier summer festival lets you experience it all.

Barbados Run Marathon – (Friday, 4th December to Sunday, 6th December)
Whether spectating or participating, we urge you to take part in the must-see Barbados Run Marathon in the Caribbean; and be a part of a fun-filled 3 day running event featuring fun-runs as well as both 5K and 10K races along Bay Street, Carlisle Bay and the beautiful capital of Bridgetown. Soak in the sights and absorb the street-side entertainment, you never know, you might even win.
